Chkistchurcii, Monday. The Rev. Father Mahoney, of Leeston, has been affected with ptomaine poisoning recently, as a result of eating some •tinned fish on board a vessel travelling between Akaroa and Lyttelton. Four others who ate of the same fish were also injuriously affected.
