The opening of the Onehunga ladies', croquet lawn took place yesterday afternoon. , There were a large number .of ladies present. Mr. F. W. Court, the president of the| Bowling Club, declared the green open, after which the secretary and treasurer (.Miss Bassett) instructed some of the ladies present. Afternoon tea was provided.
