Ore'' the platform were- Sister Ballanfcyne. .8} teacher in a Fiji mission school, and Maey? Wallis, the daughter .of one of.-the native' ministers of th?. Fiji Church. A letier waa' read from the Rev. A. J. Small, introducing these two visitors and Adi Peniac, to theNew Zealand Church. At the invitation of the chairman, M&r.T> ' Wallis delivered an address in her native tongue, Miss Ballantyne acting as interpret ter. i I _ Anthems rendered by the choirs ol Pitt-street and Grafton Road Churches, ; and' also a part-song by the latter choir, were well received. A violin solo bv Miss Peak ' * was enthusiastically encored. Miss George, l who sang beautifully, was recalled. i ..' Addresses were delivered bv Mr,. W. ; S. Mien.
