THE STEAMER AUPOURI.
The Northern Company's new steamer, Au- :';•.' pouri, arrived from Glasgow yesterday af- ,' Canal. .. The steamer, a full description of which appeared in the Herald of yesterday, left Port Glasgow on September 19, f and called at Port Said, Aden, Colombo, / and Fremantle. Generally fine weather was met with on the voyage, but the passage -down the coast was much delayed by the dirty, thick weather on Wednesday night . and yesterday morning. The steamer is a - very nicely-appointed vessel, and her pas- , -- senger accommodation is quite up to date. ' / On the-voyage out the steamer proved her- '/,'."'' self an excellent sea-boat, and the engines worked bmoothly and well throughout.
