HOSPITAL FOR CONSUMPTIVES.
[BY TELEGRAI'H.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. A number of people who object to the establishment of a hospital for consumptives at Otaki, in conjunction with the Wellington Hospital, waited on the Minister for Public Health to-day, and urged that the project should be stopped. The Minister said every precaution would 'be taken to prevent infection, and only those cases which were pronounced curable would be transferred to the institution at o\aki .
