THE AMBERLEY BURGLARY.
APPLICATION FOR 'NEW TRIAL.

Christchurch, Monday. Allandalk and Dennett, who were recently convicted and sentenced to imprisonment in connection with the burglary at Auiberlcy railway station, have forwarded to the Court of Appeal an application for a new trial, on the ground that the verdict in the first trial was against the weight of evidence. It is stated, that the application will be heard next Monday. Both prisoners will appear in support of their application.
