QUARTERLY CUSTOMS RETURNS.

The Customs returns for the port of Auckland for the three months ending June 30 show that the Customs duties collected during that period amounted to £148,762, as compared with £1*0,757 for the corresponding three months last year, an increase of £8005. The beer duties totalled £5159, against £1860, an increase of £299. Gold export? amounted to 55,4420z, valued at £224,176, against 65,4560z,. valued at £235,791, a decrease of £11,615. Silver exports wore 342,5100z, valued at £35,579, against 317,1400z, valued at £33,072, an increase of £2507.
