GRAMMAR. SCHOOL BOARD. •; The Grammar, Schoo Board met yesterday. Present: Professor F. D. Brown (in th® chair). - Professor A. P. W. Thomas, Dr. Roberton, Messrs. L. .T. Bagnail, and R. Hobbs. The plana of a house built "in Hobson-street for Mr. A. Smith were approved. The sums, of £10 for repairs at ft house in Symonds-street and £15 for repairs to a hous< at Epsom were approved. The receipts to March 31 were £2296 2s 3d, rents £489 - 18s sd, and fees £94 15?. The expenditure amounted to £2096 8s 4d, and there was a. bank balance of £796 13s. Accounts amounting to £683 16s wcyo passed fo. payment. MAX GERE ROAD BOARD. The annual meeting of the Manger® Road Board was held at the Marigere Hall on Tuesday last, when there were present: —Messrs. .T. E. Taylor (chairman), Isaac. Gray, T. Hen wood, W. Scott, and Ed wilt Hall (clerk). After disposing of routine business nominations were received for (he election of three members for the Board to take the places of Messrs. J. E Taylor and I. Gray, .who retired' by the effluxion -of time, and Mr. D. Hastie resigned. Only three nominations were / handed in. viz-. Messrs. .T. E. Taylor, H. R. Mackenzie, a fidPhillip Rosser. These gentlemen were declared duly elected by the returning officer . (Mr. E. lial!). .
