The Japanese captured a great many Russian soldiers at Tieling.

Field-Marshal Oyama reports that the Russians, before retreating, set fire to their stores at Tieling ; bub fully a third of them were saved.

Reports from St. Petersburg say that General Kuropatkin abandoned 80 guns at Tieling. <
