Buckeiudok, organiser of the Farmers' Union, addressed a large and enthusiastic meeting of settlers here last night, dealing chiefly with the benefits to be derived from the union, and the advantages of co-opera-tion. He denied a statement circulated that lie was the tout of a political party, but. said settlers must organise to protect their interests against certain aims of the Trades and Labour Council.
