David Mir.r.i-wt, a young son of the owner of a ilaxmill at Mangapai, got his rightany. in the scutcher yesterday during the absence of his father. His arm was horribly mangled, and had to be amputated at tho Whangarei Hospital this morning. The patient is progressing favourably.
