The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company has received the following cable from London:"Further heavy fall in the value of mutton, Canterbury having declined y\, and North Island -|d. Beef has also declined -|d. Quotations today are:—Canterbury mutton, 4£d ; Napier, Wellington, and North Island, 4d; lamb, first quality, ■ 6£d. Beef: Hinds, 3<J<l; fores, 2|d.
