The dispute between tlio Drainage Board and the Marine Department over the sewerage outfall for Duneuin and suburb's has como to a his«d, and Mr. Hales, cliiuf engineer, has declined to approve of the Board's plans on the ground that the Hoard's operations are like]} to result la pollution to Tomahawk beach. The chairman of tho Hoard's Works Committee, on being interviewed, declined to foreshadow the probable action of the Board, but an extensive alteration of the drainage plans is inevitable.
