FIRES IN INVERCARGILL.
[BY telegraph.— PßESS association.] LvvERCARaiLL, Sunday. On Saturday morning a six-roomed house in Clyde-street svvned by the Hon. A. Baldey, and occupied by Mrs. Wilson, was destroyed by fire. The insurance on the building is not known. On Saturday night a sevenroomed housf belonging to the Railway Department, and tenanted by P. O. Shirley, railway clerk, was burned down, in the absence of the family. The furniture was insured for £100 in the Australian Alliance Office.
