B„r Teiezraph.—Press Association.— (Received December 22, 3.37 p.m.) Capetown, December 21 A MASS meeting held at Capetown adopted a resolution by an overwhelming majority opposing the introduction of Chinese labour in the Transvaal. Mr. W. ?. Schreiner, ex-Premier of Cape Colony, suggested that an appeal be made to the Imperial Government not to sanction legislation on the subject* prior to granting self-government to the Transvaal.
