t TO-DAY'S PROGRAMME. ajRT complete arrangements have been ade by the workers of Auckland for the iboiu Day celebration to-day. Those inttiding to take part in the trades display id procession, which promises to bo quite .■feature of the demonstration, are requested t assemble at the foot of Queen-street at hlf-past eight a.m., in. order that the procssita may move off ea route to the Domain CrcJjet Ground promptly at ton o'clock. Sea* 50 firms and 27 trades unions will take pat, and the spectacle should therefore be
wil worth witnessing. The sports at the Dmain will commence at half-past twelve, id a long and attractive programme of foot .ad cycle races, together with other compctjioris and Maori dances, will be gone ' tirough, the latter by a band of some 130 stives: from the Tuakau district. There wll also be a pyrotechnic display of palJons and an amusing rescue" by the Darkfcwn Eire Brigade. Given fine weather, here should be a very large attendance of fee public at the Domain. Hansen, general manager of the Tramways, Company, placed a double-decked car at the visitors' disposal, »nd they were conveyed all over the company's lines:
