THE CHILDREN'S HOME, PAENELL.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—Last year through your kindness an appeal for donations of blankets for the cold weather now again approaching met with a very gonerous response, especially from several large firms trading in suoh material--. The home has nearly twice as many children now as then, and therefore I should like to be allowed to appeal again to the public to help us provide for the comfort and warmth of the children in the coming winter. Gifts are best sent direct to Sister Cecil, Children's Home, Manukau Road, Parncll (corner ol Ayr-street). Either blankets or money to buy them would bo very acceptable.— am, etc. W. Edward Lush.
