Drunkenness: Norah Williams wae con-'' victed of her second offonco within, nix mouths, and the case was adjourned for a. month on accused undertaking to go into the Salvation Army Homo and a prohibition' order issued against her. A first-offender! was convicted and discharged, and another.' was fined ss. ) A Savage Dor: Joseph Wcblcy, of Mount i Eden, was fined 20s and costs l!)s for being the owner of a do* which attacked Herbert i ivyan on a public, highway. Prohibition Order: On the application of his son. a proinlnuoii order was issued against' £ rede-rick, Woolley, sen. Affiliation: Two or three eases of this kind were dealt with and adjourned for further evidence. The complainants' contention seemed to be that members of departing contingents were responsible for the trouble. Charles Holland, for whom Mr. Martin appeared, denied the paternity of an illegitimate child, of which ho was alleged to he the father. Mr. Brookfield appeared for thrj complainant. After hearing evidence the further hearing was adjourned till tile loth inst. ■
