[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHBisxcHTJBCHi Tuesday. Joseph Da'y, pilot at Sumner, through whose neglect to hoist the danger signals, the drowning of Spring in attempting to cross the Sumner bar is alleged to be due, was charged with manslaughter in Court this morning, and remanded to April 15. The magistrate stated that the papers would be sent to the Solicitor-General. Bail was allowed in two sureties of £50 each.
