BRIDGING THE OHINEMURI RIVER.
[BY TELEGRAPH.— CORRESPONDENT.] PAEIJOA, Saturday. The old wooden traffic bridge over ■ the Ohinemuri River at Paeroa, which has done such good service for many years past, is to be replaced by an iron structure. Parliament having last session voted £1000 for this work, the county engineer immediately communicated with several Home firms, and he has received prices ranging from £1520 down to £465, and on his recommendation it has been decided to accept the tender of the Anderson Handyside Company, Limited, at £650 f.o.b. Liverpool. \ .
