Two rinks from Onehunga visited the Newmarket green on Saturday, and after close and enjoyable games Onehunga won by six points, the scores being Onehunga 35, New market 29. Onehunga—Graham, W. Championship Fours: Wheeler, Wilson, Coylo, Harrison (skip), 19, v. Mansell, Wright, Barker, McLean (skip), 18. The championship fours are now completed, and the results are as follows:Ashton's team, 3 wins, 1 loss; Parry's team, 2 wins, 2 losses; Priestley's team, 2 wins. 2 losses; McLean's team, 2 wins. 2 losses; Harrison's team. 1 win, 3 losses. The winning team bein ; Olesen, F. Wilkins, Garlick, and Ashton (skip). The trophies are four gold medals, presented by the president, Mr. M. McLean. Mrs. Finlay provided afternoon tea. REMUERA GREEN. . There was much interest taken in the play on the Remuera green on Saturday afternoon, when the two teams selected to represent the club at the forthcoming tournament were pitted against each. Nothing better has been witnessed during the season, both from the players' and the spectators' point of view. Two .games were played, and some fine heads exhibited, as is evidenced by the fact that in each game the teams tied. In playing off the. first game, Clark's team won by one point, and in playing off the second game Laxon's team won by two points. The teams were arranged by.the selector, Mr. A. C. Stevenson, as follows:Lennox, Perrin, G. Court, Laxon (skip), and Caldwell, Maxfield, R. Hull, D. E. Clerk (skin). Great credit is due to Mr. Stevenson for arranging the teams so evenly. In the final for the Haig and Haig trophy, D. M. Dingwall beat H. Maxfield by two points, the scores being: Dingwall 17, Maxfield 15. Mr. Dingwall represents the Remuera Club at the tournament for the Haig and Haig trophy. The other games played resulted as follows :—Callender, Frater, Kingswoll. Rev. Beatty (skin). 23, v. There was only a moderate attendance on the green on Saturday, the heavy rain that fell early in the day causing members to stay away, thinking there would he no play.
