TEE SAN FRANCISCO MAIL.

The mail steamer Ventura is due from Sydney at daylight this morning, and after medical and Customs inspection will berth at the Queen-street Wharf. The Ventura has a large number of passengers for this port, and has also a large number for San Francisco, which will be considerably added to at Auckland. The cargo by the steamer from this port will be a very large one, consisting of lines of meats, produce, timber, etc., for Samoa; and lines of pelts, flax, skins, etc., for San Francisco. The shipment of flax by the Ventura will be a record one, consisting of about 2000 bales. The Ventura is timed to proceed on to Island ports and San Francisco at two o'clock this afternoon, and is due at the California!! port on March 23; and the mails by the steamer are timed to reach London on April 3.
