THAMES HIGH SCHOOL BOARD.

Poulgrain presiding, Mr.' John Kinder, was • appointed assistant-master. Mr. Kinder is at present assistant-master at -the Gisborne District High School. It was • intimated that the Government hid appointed Messrs. Thos. Radford, Wm. Scott, and M. Paul i as its representatives, on the Board. Several applications were received for free tuition ; \ in the school under the. new Government regulations, ' and i. consent was granted in three instances. ' . It was decided to proceed with the matter of arbitration in connection with the leases which expire on the Board's - endowment at Waiorongomai in May next, and the secretary: was instructed to write . requesting .the : tenants to appoint their arbitrators.
