The Mayor made the announcement at the Council meeting this evening, that Mr. John Buckley, on behalf, of his lately deceased uncle, Mr. John McLean, of Redcastle, bad made the offer of £250, the full amount required to be paid by the Council as its share of the cost of the post office clock.
