THE KING'S SOVEREIGNTY IN FIJI.
. » By Telegraph.—Press Association.— Copyright. Suva, June 26. This morning King Edward's sovereignty over Fiji wan declared. Twenty rokos, or provincial native Governors, were sworn in. The Administrator read a letter to the native people from the King, thanking them lor the " burua" in honour of her late Majesty. He assured the Fijians of his personal interest in their welfare, and exhorted them to give no heed to those who would cause disaffection, but to obey the Governors set over them for their good, whoso laws were his laws. He also advised them to pay their just taxes without murmur.
