STRENGTH RESTORED AFTER ILLNESS.
A MOTHER'S INTERESTING LETTER ABOUT HER LITTLE DAUGHTER. HERE is a case of a little child who had been suffering with fever and a complication of ailments which had reduced her system to a state of extreme weakness. The way she was restored to health and strength is told in the following letter: — "Eire Station, Brooke Road, " Stoke Newington, London, England, " October 21, 1900. "Gentlemen,—! have great pleasure in writing to thank you for the great benefit our little daughter of four years old has derived from taking Scott's Emulsion. In February last she was stricken down with fever, followed by congestion of the lungs, pneumonia, and abscesses, which held her between life and death for some days. A friend recommended your Scott's Emulsion, which she has been taking for some month.-, and it has certainly been the- means of restoring her to health and strength. She is now' looking well and strong.—l am, yours truly, " (Signed) AGNES Sargent. ' Scott's Emulsion certainly deserves the praise it receives from those who take it. It is a standard preparation of cod-liver oil, and has more uses in the human system than any other remedy which is offered to the public. Scott's Emulsion has overcome all of the objections formerly urged against cod-liver oil. It is perfectly palatable, so that it is not objectionable to the most sensitive palate, and it does not tax. the organs of digestion. Scott's Emulsion gives the system strength and vitality. It is a specific for coughs, colds, and "all ailments of throat and lungs, and in addition to the properties_ of a specific, it offers the most vital principles of food in the easiest form for absorption into the blood. The result of taking Scott's Emulsion is an increased appetite, better digestion of food, renewed strength and vigour iu all the vital organs. Scott's Emulsion must not be cuofounded with, other forms of cod-liver oil, for it is peculiar to itself, and differs from any other preparation. The only way to deiive the benefits which we are revealing from day to day by the publication of letters from those who have tried our preparation, is to insist upon having the/ genuine Scott's Emulsion, which is easily distinguished by our trade ■ mark of a man holding a big fish over his shoulder. You will certainly be well paid if you will be careful to buy only the genuine V'icott's Emulsion, for the merits of this preparation are well known both to the mediciii profession and to the public. You can obtain a sample of Scott's Emulsion by sending fourpence to Soott_ and Bowne, Limited, 483, Kent-street, Sydney, ami mentioning this paper. All chemists sell Scott's Ejnulsiou.
