New Yor.K, June 20. The Mayor of Paterson, New Jersey, suspending the chief of police, armed himself with a rifle and revolver and assumed command.
He distributed revolvers to the millworkers and told them to shoot all Anarchists on sight.
The police dispersed a procession of 100 Italians.
The Governor of the Slate has despatched troops to Paterson.
Strikers at Williamstown, Virginia, ordered 2") miners to quit work, and on theii refusal threw dynamite down the shaft, killing five. When the survivors emerged the strikers fired, injuring many.
