Makgill Bros, (nons of Captain Makgill), of Waiukn, have been paying us a visit on the look-out for young; cows for next spring, aud succeeded in purchasing 50 very nice heifers from Mi. J. Wilson, of Kirikrri, at a price I understand that is quite satisfactory to buyers and seller. The stock were ilrivon. via Tca-kau. This i» the first mob of cattle that has been driven tight through this way.
