CITY ASSESSMENT COURT.
A SITTING of the Auckland City Assessment Court for the purpose of dealing with the valuations of certain properties in the Ponsonby Ward was held at the Magistrate's Court yesterday forenoon, before Mr. H. W. Brabant, S. M. The majority of cases dealt with were omissions of names of occupants, and the town clerk (Mr. H. W. Wilson) appeared in support of the applications for insertion of the names. The details are as under:—Charles Fordyce. omitted from roll as owner of allotments in Ring Terrace, name inserted in accordance with application, valuation £11: Samuel McMurray, allotments, Clifton Road, valuation raised to £18; Henry Barton, omitted as owner of allotment, King Terrace, name inserted, valuation £5; W J. Boylan, allotment, Ring Terrace, valuation raised by consent to £25 W. J. Boylan, allotment, Ring Terrace, valuation raised by i consent to £10; Thomas Holes, omitted from roll as owner of allotment. Vine-street, name j inserted, valuation £3; Ellen Cochrane, omitted as owner of allotment, .lervois Road, I name inserted and valuation raised to £8 byconsent: Ellen Cochrane,' omitted as owner of wood building, Blake-street, name inserted and valuation raised to £11 by consent.
