FARM PRODUCTS' PROSPECTS.

ADVICE TO FARMERS. The Gazette in" a recent issue provides interesting study. It is shown that the areas of wheat, oats, barley, and maize new under cultivation are less by-many thousands of acres than those cultivated with these products last 3-ear. The acreage, however, taken up by potatoes, linseed, peas, mangels, and beans is considerably increased. The alteration, we are convinced, is merely a, financial' one. There is no doubt, whatever that a farmer cau secure the best returns by a combination of the products mentioned. One very successful farmer is Mr. John Allemann, of Ingle wood, near Mount Kgmont. In a recent interview he gaye some interesting particulars concerning his operations. When first come upon he was busy with his family cutting and stacking chaff, despite his seventy years of age. "But farming is rough work," he said, and, owing to exposure to cold and wet, my operations, ten years ago, were somewhat interrupted. Acute rheumatic pains came in my neck, arms, back, and legs. My muscles were contracted and I could scarcely move. At times the agony was terrible, and none of the remedies I tried gave me permanent relief. - More than one doctor treated me, but I was not cured, and, as a last resource, I was sent to Rotorua Hot Springs; but there, sad to relate, I obtained only temporary relief. It was after my return that 1 heard of the efficacy of Dr. Williams' pink pills for pale people in cases of rheumatism; then an Inglewood storekeper also advised me to try them, and I did so. After having suffered for years from this terrible complaint I was surprised aad pleased to notice the pains lessening when 1 had been using Dr. Williams' pink pills for a few days. First, the pain left my neck, and then the muscles and joints. It took several boxes- to cure me, but now I am in perfect health, and, despite my age, I do all kinds of work about the farm without ill effect. That my recovery is due solely to Dr. Williams' pink pills for pal© people- I am positive." It is interesting to note that there have been more cases of rheumatism cured by Dr. Williams' pink pills than any other disorders, except, perhaps, aiuetnia; both arise from impure blood. These pills are genuine only with the full name—Dr. Williams' pink pills for pale people. Tliey are sold by chemists and storekeepers, and by the Dr. Williams Medicine Company, Wellington, three shillings Tier box, six boxes sixteen and six, post free. They act directly on the blood and nerves, and thus it is they are so famous for the cure of paralysis, scrofula, neuralgia, soratica, lumbago, influenza, bronchitis, and e"en consumption wher. the patient is not too far gone.
