STEAM SERVICE TO SOUTH AFRICA.
[IIY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION-.] Wellington, Monday. Information received by Cabinet leads to the belief that the Agent-General will shortly be able to sign a contract with the Blue Star line for a steam service to South Africa from New Zealand. Later. Ministers to-night decided to instruct the Agent-General to close with the Blue Star line for the South African steam service, certain difficulties which arose having since been removed.
