A drover and a lad named Lyons were engaged in removing sheep to Bullagreen, New South Wales, and were camped near the railway fence, not far from Cathundril siding, 10 miles from Trangle. The drover left the lad for a short time, and when he returned found him lying near the railway line with his right leg cut off, also his head cut and his body bruised. Fettlers at once put him on a trolley and took him to the Warren Hospital, but he died shortly after they started. The driver of the train knows tothing of the occurrence, and it is .surmised that the boy lay down on the line, or was attempting "to jump on the train, which mav have slowed down near the siding. Too good to bo —until you've truly tried it. Custard without eggs—better'n with eggs. Tucker's, everywhere, Od.
