LORD KITCHENER'S .WEEKLY REPORT. , 237 PRISONERS. (Received January 1, 8.50. p.m.) London, January 1. Lord Kitchener's weekly report is as follows: . Killed ... ... ... 35 Wounded •• ... ... 5 Taken prisoners ... 237 Surrendered ... ... 50 Two hundred ' and twelve rifles, 1600 rounds of ammunition and 1760 cattle were also captured. The Boer losses do not include those killed in De Wet's recent attacks on Colonels Dartnell and Firman. It is reliably, estimated that lie lost 30 killed and 50 wounded in these attacks.
