SHALE OIL BONUS.
[by TELEGRAPH.PRESS association-.] Dtjnedin, Wednesday. Mr. W. P. Watson, the general manager of the New Zealand Coal and Oil Company, has received from the Government a bonus of £5000 for the first 100.000 gallons of oil produced from shale. The oil was the result of operations at Orepuki.
