Cambridge, one of Auckland's agricultural centres, and the picturesque sanatorium of the Middle Waikato, is depicted, and one can readily believe, after seeing the illustrations, that the place is yearly becoming more popular, both as a farming district and a health resort. '
The immense landslide which recently destroyed tbe famous Tohokura pa, on the banks of the Urenui River, is shown by means of photographs taken on the spot for the Weekly News. Pictures are given of the Labour Day demonstration in Wellington, some of the prize exhibits in the procession being novel and amusing. The New Zealand Ladies' Golf Championship meeting in Auckland, the Te Ante College, one of the most famous native institutions in New Zealand, are illustrated, as is the great football tournament of the Taranaki friendly societies. There is also a large number of attractive miscellaneous pictures, covering a wide and varied list of subjects. The letterpress includes high-class literary matter, articles of all kinds, and the complete mining, commercial, and agricultural reports of the week.
