QUEENSLAND TRADE RETURNS. Brisbane, October 16.
The exports of the State for the nine months decreased nearly £1,000,000, and the imports £850,000, as compared with the same period of last year.
GENERAL HECTOR MACDONALD. Melbourne, October 16.
General Hector Macdonald was a passenger by the s.s. Westralia, which left for Ilobart and the Bluff to-day.

In connection with the Ariadne case, Kerry and Freke have been further remanded till Friday, pending the arrival of the original warrant from New Zealand.
