This was the only kill of the day, and these members retracing their steps rejoined the huntsman, who worked the paddocks around the mountain. *; Two", or three minor rwins followed, but the rain setting in, a move was made to the residence of the master (Mr. J. G. Ralph), where the members wore hospitably entertained. During the arfternoon Messrs. Board and Kinlock, jun., met with nasty spills, and were disabled for a short period. Amongst the members present were Mesdames Moody, Crowe, and Kelly (Steeltrap), Misses Gorrie (2), Rae, Stribley, 0. Buckland, Messrs. Moody, Kinloch, Clark, Purchas (2), ■< Waller, Tonks, Crowe, Colonel Dawson (Ike), Ben Myers (Nil Desperandum), Gorrie,; Cavminer (Inaurangi), Board, Lewis (Tip), McLaughlin, Bloomfield, and Burns. Driving were Mesdames Morrin and party, Markbam and party, and Donald and party.
