A Meeting of representatives of eight unions, held on Saturday night, resolved to recommend,' their unions to form a local Trades and Labour Council, and set up a committee of two from each, to formulate a constitution, and draw up rules. A motion, recommending that efforts be made to have South Canterbury proclaimed a separate industrial district, was negatived. It was resolved to convene 'a meeting of farm labourers for next Saturday, for the purpose of forming a union. •*■ .-■:"' Greymouth, Sunday. The past week's coal exports are: Blackball Company, 2211 tons 2cwt; Brunner, 1565 tons 16cwt. Westpokt, Sunday. During the last week the output from the Westport Coal Company's mines was 15.,274 tons 6cnvt, and from the Westport Co-opera-tive Company's, 520 tons.
