Following the stoppage of the Dresdner and Allgemeinen Deutschen Creditanstalt Banks, the Leipzitfcr Bank lias suspended payment, causing a semi-panic on the Berlin Bourse. Bank shares have declined generality, and in some cases eight points, London, .Line 20. It is unlikely London will be seriously affected by the Berlin bank failures. The Times says the Leipziger Bank advanced the Trebcr Trochnung Company, of Cassel, eightyseven million marks—nearly twentythree million marks beyond its share capital and reserves.
