THE CONWAY CASE.

Miss Huddleetone, on being recalled, admitted that the stout she drank on the night of Conway's death had a. distinctly bitter taste. After the case for the prosecution had closed, accused addressed the jury at some length, in a voice broken and low. She declared that she was absolutely innocent of the charge, and denied being on deck on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. She cams to Sydney with her husbands consent. The parents of the child she saved went Home 11 vara ago, but returned 12 months ago, and titled a policy on the child's life for £500 on her. Sac gave a detailed account of her connection with Conway, as already known, and concluded by saying that if Conway could only rise from the grave he would dcclare her innocence.
