Viz?- \ telly. and will be published by Chatto and Windus simultaneously with its publication . in Paris. It is one of a series of four, of which '" Fruit fulness" was the first. Before a ' rear a seventh edition of " Adam Bede" was rlisposed of. It would bo exceedingly in- j teresting to know how many copies of the ' book have been sold altogether since. It ! appeared in sixpenny form some time ago. j The copyright of "Adam Bede" expires j this year, and Messrs. Blackwood are to is- i -•up immediately two new editions of George j Eliot's work. " To one—the " Warwick"— 1 we have already called attention. 'It will be printed on India paper, and will be of a j neat pocket size. " Adam Bed-" will be is- | sued at once.
