LORD WOLSELEY AND THE WAR.
OBSOLETE GUNS.
By Telegraph.— Association.-Copyright.
London, March 17.
Lord Wolseley, in the House of Lords, complained that he had repeatedly but unavailingly reported to Lord Lansdowne that it was cruel, if not criminal, to send the auxiliary forces into action with obsolete and useless guns. Lord Lansdowne had replied that they must first supply the needs of the regulars.
