CHRISTCHURCH WOOL SALE. try telegraph.—press ASSOCIATION.] Chbistchurch. Tuesday.At the concluding wool sale of the season, held to-dav. there was a moderate attendance t'f buyers. Bidding was slack, and the practical cessation of the local factories demand' caused a decline of fully Id per lb in merino. Good halfbreds and fine crossbreds about maintained their values, but coarse eros'breds were also easier. The bulk of the wool was of indifferent quality; and a good deal was clearing up lots and Chatham Island coarse crossbred;. The range of prices was: Greasy merino, 6d to 7±d: halfbred, 42d to 7kl: crossbred, 31 d to old; pieces, lid to 4|d: and locks, ljd to 3*d. Two thousand four hundred and thirty-five bales were sold out of a catalogue of 4055.
