From all sides we (Bay of Plenty Times) hear that the present season is the worst for nearly all kinds of fruit experienced here for many years. Why this should be so is a puzzle which 1 , no one seem, able to solve, general conditions having been quite as favourable as usual, but . the fact remains that many fruitgrowers have barely one case this year where they generally had 10.
