ACCIDENT AT HAMILTON.

[by telegraph.—own CORRESPONDENT.] Hamilton, Monday. On Saturday a very serious accident happened to a little girl aged six, the daughter of Mi. F. W. Littlewood, of Taupiri. Her brother fired at a cat, which had taken refuge" under the house. The charge killed the' animal, but some of the pellets struck the little child, who | was playing at the back of the house. She, was badly hurt about the ' tace,, neck, chest, and arms. The brother, who 'has been ailing for some time, was so greatly shocked, that it was thought advisable to bring him and his sister to the Waif Hospital for treatment, where the little" girl is doing as well as could be expected.
