AUCKLAND RACING CLUB. At a meeting of the A.R.C. Committee yesterday afternoon, tenders were opened for the right to pell refreshments at the various booths, and also for the right to publish the cards in connection with the club's meeting for the remainder of the present season. Mr. T. O'Connor was the successful tenderer for th<T*booths at £1110, while Messrs. Adams and ( Andrews' tender of £944 for the cards was' accepted. There were three tenders submitted for the cards, and as showing the -keenness of the 1 competition, it may. be stated that there was only a difference of £15 in the amount offered, * the two unsuccessful tenderers offering the - t same amount, £925. * AN INQUIRY ON REVERSAL OF . FORM. Wellington, Monday. The stewards of the Wellington Racing Ciub to-night held an iaquiry into the running of Melwood at the recent spring meeting. The matter was eventually adjourned in order to obtain the evidence of R. Neale, the rider of Perfection, who was alleged to have interfered with Melwood in tho November 1 Handicap. ' WELLINGTON RACING CLUB'S SUMMER MEETING. Mr. Evett has declared the following weights in connection with tho Wellington Racing Club's Summer • Mooting — WELLINGTON CUP of 650sovs. Ono miii and a-half.
