THE BLACKPOOL MEAT CASE.
[Br TELEGRAPH.FEES 9 association.] Wellington, Friday. The Premier has received a cable from the Agent-General stating that in the Blackpool meat case, in which a butcher was charged with selling New Zealand mutton as English mutton, judgment waa given in favour of the New Zealand Government by the Justices, and the- defendant fined.
