CHARGE OF FORGERY.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —T-.T-5S ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Tuisday. James P. Imrie, lately stationmaster at Foxton, : was charged in the Magistrate's Court to-day with forging four receipt* representing £74 for moneys received by him on account of the Carnarvon-San tramway, making it appear this sum was paid over to the Manawatu County Council, which was nob the case. Accused, under thi Indictable Offences' Summary Jurisdiction Act of last session, pleaded guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
