SLAUGHTERING AND INSPECTION ACT.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] I ■ Wellington, Wednesday. 'Mb. Gilbuth, Government Bacteriologist and Veterinarian, leaves for London on Friday. He has been instructed to select 15 veterinary surgeons to act under the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, which comes into force in April. He will also visit the chief bacteriological laboratories of London and Paris, to bring his knowledge of the subject up to date.
