THE GOVERNOR.
The vice-regal party ittended Divine service 1 at St. Paul's Church (Canon Nelson) yesterday. His Excellency the Governor and lady Jileeu Knox,'accompanied by the Hon. Charles Hill-Trevor, A.D.C., witnessed the cricket match, Auckland v. Wellington, during the forenoon cn Saturday, in the - Domain. To-day His Excellency will, with - dome of the members of the vice-regal party, be present at the A.R.C. autumn meeting, Ellerslie. . This evening Lord Ranfurly Will declare open thi Easter Pair, in aid of the funds of. the Auckland Ladies' Bene- , tolent Society.
